Cutting edge research has produced a new class of electrical materials called amorphous alloys. These alloys, which are also known as metallic glass alloys, are the building blocks of modern, high-performance electrical machinery. These materials practically eliminate hysteresis losses in electric generators and allow for smaller coil designs.
Amorphous alloys are produced by rapid solidification which results in ultra thin strips, which provide the end-user with superb magnetic properties. Cores manufactured using amorphous alloy strips can be over twice as efficient as today's foremost silicon steel cores.
| Nettle Lynx can offer various Fe-based, Co-based and Ni-based
alloys. For salient features of the following five amorphous alloys, please click on the links below: In addition to the above, new alloys are under development. Please contact us with your particular requirements and we will be glad to provide the most suitable material that meets your needs. |
